Through JKUAT E-learning department a project to test effectiveness of mobile learning (Learning when one is mobile NOT necessarirly using a phone) will be run from January to April 2012. A group of 20 students from 3rd year IT Class are to be selected to participate under some conditions.
The unit to be undertaked while mobile is Artificial intelligence
The student must have a phone, a tablet or a Laptop computer which can readily access internet
The student will be provided with monthly airtime only for the period Jan to March
The student is willing to give as much feedback as will be required from time to time either through an online questionnaire, discussion forum or a face to face gathering
The student is willing to forego most if not all the class room based lectures
